Project Description:
This contract provides for the improvement of SR 539 in Whatcom County, MP 1.697 to MP 6.007, Horton Rd. to Ten Mile Rd. Widen to five lanes by clearing and grubbing, removing two bridge structures, removing cement and asphalt concrete pavements. Roadway excavation including haul, drainage and storm sewer systems, sanitary sewer systems, water mains, construct the Ten Mile Creek Bridge and the Four Mile Cree Bridge, structure excavation class A and Class B. Also pave with cement concrete and hot mix asphalt, erosion control, plant establishment, wetland mitigation, channelization, illumination and installing traffic signals and other work.
