Project Description:
This project included the addition of ten high speed surface aerators, and eight surface aspirating aerators in Lagoon Mix Cells 3A and 3B. Modification and expansion of continuous backwash, upflow effluent filters, installation of a low-pressure, high intensity UV disinfection system in a renovated Chlorine Contact Basin No. 1; Installation of a supplemetal hypochlorite disinfection storage and delivery system; demolition of the existing gaseous chlorine disinfection system; Modification and renovation of the existing plant control/laboratory building; Construction of a new plant maintenance building; Replacement of portions of plant yard piping; Associated site civil, electrical, instrumentation and control facilities.
