PAINE FIELD RUNWAY 16R-34L SHOULDER REHABILITATION AND RELATED WORK

Project Summary

The project for Snohomish County at their Paine Field facility involved major rehabilitation of approx. 15,000 linear feet of asphalt concrete shoulders on Runway 16R-34L.  The project also provided major storm drainage improvements, new LED airfield signs, new runway edge lights, new electrical duct banks, pavement markings, sodding, hydro seeding, and other related work.  Work was completed using night shifts and four-day closures (24-hour double shifts) to complete the work with minimal impact to airport operations.
