Priest River Water Resources Recovery Facility

Project Summary

IMCO provided extensive upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment plant for the City of Priest River, Idaho.

The purpose of the project was to bring the facility up to code to meet current environmental standards. The contract included influent lift station upgrades with screw pump replacement and the demolition of an existing headworks facility and anaerobic basin mixer, to be newly constructed and installed. Crews constructed a new air-supply to the grit chamber and installed dissolved oxygen probe and aeration controls. The project included pump station piping improvements, construction of a solids dewatering facility and a utility water system, installation of a new effluent v-notch weir flowmeter, electrical upgrades, and ultraviolet light disinfection systems upgrades.
