Project Summary

The Substation battery storage project was for an industrial client who IMCO’s team is proud to partner with. IMCO provided civil site work construction services for this energy storage contract, including erosion control, potholing, testing, and earthwork, concrete foundations and installation of battery equipment. 

This is part of the client’s goal to build 1,700 megawatts of battery storage by 2040.

Project Highlights

The project team worked within an extremely tight timeframe in order to the meet contract requirements. IMCO was tasked with getting all earthwork, electrical infrastructure, concrete foundations and equipment installation within 4 months to ensure that system was ready to provide power during peak usage months.
